Our Firm

Meadows Law is an Alberta-based law firm that provides legal advice in key areas, including Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Health Law, Privacy Law and Indigenous Law to clients across Canada

Our History and Values

Back in January 2017, after 25 years in the legal field, Teresa Meadows decided to start Meadows Law. Her goal was simple: Create a firm that truly reflects our core values. Since then, we have been driven by our commitment to excellence, passion for our work and dedication to serving our clients with care and commitment. We keep learning and improving to understand our clients' unique needs and to find ways to better serve them.

Our team is made up of passionate professionals who share these values. We have built a positive, collaborative and supportive work environment founded on respect for our profession, clients, colleagues, the communities we serve and the public interest.

When the pandemic hit, we saw big changes in how our clients do business. We took this as a chance to rethink our own work model, moving to a hybrid setup that lets our team work from home part of the week. We also invested in technology to stay connected and collaborate effectively, even when we are apart. We are exploring how Artificial Intelligence tools can be used by the firm and our clients in ways that add value, and that are effective, ethical and transparent.

As we look to the future, we understand that our firm, our clients and the world in general are living through unprecedented times of change and disruption. We remain true to our focus and truly appreciate the opportunity to help our clients to successfully navigate these uncharted waters and rise to the challenges of these uncertain times.

We take a collaborative and integrated approach to solving legal issues

Legal problems are not always solved purely via the application of the law. We recognize that often the answer to our clients’ legal disputes requires building relationships based on trust, mutual interest and collaboration to solve complex problems. We think beyond adversarial approaches to find common interests and mutual benefit.
